Rewilding Britain builds a data portal with Hive IT for 1,000+ rewilding members

Rewilding Britain, a national rewilding charity, needed to move its Rewilding Spectrum—a tool for measuring conservation progress—from a manual spreadsheet to an automated digital platform. Their challenge was to create a self-service data portal that their diverse network of over 1,000 members could use independently without guidance. Hive IT was engaged to provide user research, content design, and prototyping expertise to solve this problem.

Hive IT conducted user research and co-designed a high-fidelity interactive prototype, which was refined through multiple rounds of testing. This process ensured the portal's questions were clear and data entry was quick and accurate. Hive IT then delivered a full set of front-end templates for the client to integrate. The solution received excellent feedback from users for its ease of use, and it is expected to improve data quality, create a scalable way to track progress, and help projects plan future actions.
