Department for Education builds a more accessible data platform with Hive IT and 2,500+ user engagements

The Department for Education (DfE) sought to improve how it published its official statistics and data for a range of users. Hive IT was engaged to build a new, more reliable and accessible data platform to help users more easily search for and understand this information.

Hive IT successfully built the Explore Education Statistics platform using React, Next.js, and Azure. The solution makes statistics easier to find and interpret, empowers DfE analysts to publish data more easily, and has been recognized with awards. The platform was rigorously tested with over 2,500 user engagements during the beta phase.
