Universal Pictures Mexico partnered with Hits Book for the Fast and Furious 8 campaign in Mexico, aiming to engage fans and bring them closer to the Fast and Furious family. The challenge was to create an activation that would generate excitement around the film and connect the audience with the franchise in a fun, participatory way.
Hits Book ran a contest on the Fast and Furious fan page inviting users to upload a video featuring their favorite phrase from the saga. As an incentive, all participants received passes to the film’s pre-release. The two-week campaign generated 200 videos, 33K pageviews, and 16K views, delivering strong fan engagement and measurable reach for Hits Book and Universal Pictures Mexico.
