Yo! Sushi, the international sushi restaurant chain, faced aging seven‑year‑old servers, costly upgrade and disaster‑recovery concerns, and a very lean IT team that wanted to “never buy a server again.” To address this, Yo! Sushi engaged Hitachi Vantara using its MultiCloud Acceleration Solution and cloud migration services to move core collaboration and productivity workloads to Microsoft Office 365.

Hitachi Vantara migrated Yo! Sushi’s 120 users to Office 365—handling subscriptions, testing, development, training and rollout—eliminating the need for server replacements and simplifying management. The cloud solution delivered improved collaboration (including SharePoint Online), automatic updates, and business continuity, and is projected to reduce costs by about 40% over five years compared with an on‑premises Exchange server, with Hitachi Vantara continuing to support further cloud initiatives.
