Security Centres International (SCI), a Caribbean security advisory firm headquartered in Grand Cayman with more than 700 security professionals, faced rising organized crime, human trafficking and fragmented, siloed law‑enforcement across island jurisdictions. To enable real‑time information sharing and collective intelligence, SCI partnered with Hitachi Vantara and adopted Hitachi Visualization technologies, including the Hitachi Visualization Platform (HVP) and Hitachi Visualization Suite (HVS), to address public‑safety and national video surveillance needs.

Hitachi Vantara deployed HVP edge‑capture hardware and the cloud‑based HVS software to integrate video, analytics and CAD into common operational dashboards—installations include 240 pole‑mounted cameras in the Cayman Islands and more than 270 cameras in Nassau (with ~250 additional cameras planned). The Hitachi Vantara solution produced measurable outcomes: multijurisdictional collaboration, real‑time visibility, faster proactive response and improved situational awareness, while enabling scalable private–public camera sharing and further regional expansion.
