oXya, a global SAP hosting and managed-services specialist, faced the challenge of reliably meeting strict SLAs for highly dynamic, always-on SAP environments as it expanded (including a new Montreal data center) and onboarded net-new customers. To address complex provisioning, visibility and VMware alignment needs, oXya selected Hitachi Vantara solutions, notably the Hitachi Unified Compute Platform (UCP) family and Hitachi Unified Compute Platform Director.

Hitachi Vantara delivered converged UCP solutions—UCP for SAP HANA and UCP for VMware vSphere—integrated with Hitachi servers and storage to simplify provisioning, improve visibility and support real‑time analytics. The result: oXya cut environment provisioning from roughly 30+ days to days, met demanding SLAs for new retail and insurance customers, won additional bids, and deployed two more UCP implementations for net-new customers while enabling faster, more actionable business insights.
