Case Study: RMZ Corp achieves enterprise-class scalability and performance with Hitachi Vantara

A Hitachi Vantara Case Study

Preview of the RMZ Corp Case Study

RMZ Corp Modernizes IT, Streamlines Operational Efficiency and Optimizes Scalability With Converged Hitachi Solution

RMZ Corp, a leading Indian real estate developer, was struggling to keep pace with rapid business growth because its legacy ERP could not deliver the reliability, availability, scalability and performance required for mission‑critical SAP workloads. To modernize IT and support future expansion, RMZ selected Hitachi Vantara’s converged infrastructure, choosing the Hitachi Unified Compute Platform for the SAP HANA Platform (UCP for SAP HANA) to replace its home‑grown ERP.

Hitachi Vantara deployed UCP for SAP HANA using Hitachi Compute Blade 500 servers and Hitachi Unified Storage VM, consolidating SAP application servers onto three CB 500 blades with VMware and using the SAP HANA TDI model. The implementation enabled seamless scaling (512GB–6TB scale‑up and up to 32TB scale‑out), virtualized disparate storage, exceeded SAP KPIs, and delivered near‑real‑time reporting — letting RMZ Corp scale by adding blades while achieving enterprise‑class availability, manageability and performance.
