Payments Company Boosts Operational Efficiency With Diagnostics Solution

Citrus Pay, a digital payments company serving millions of users, was experiencing intermittent transaction failures that prevented customers from completing payments, harming loyalty and revenue. Unable to identify the root cause, Citrus Pay engaged REAN Cloud (now part of Hitachi Vantara) and used the Test function of the REAN Accelerator Platform from Hitachi Vantara to diagnose the platform issue.

Engineers from Hitachi Vantara spun up a dynamic test infrastructure and hundreds of automated browser users to run URL and browser-version tests, quickly identifying a new Google Chrome release and its security changes that hid the PAY button and caused incomplete transactions. Using the Test function of the REAN Accelerator Platform, Hitachi Vantara’s diagnostics found and enabled fixes within hours, yielding an immediate increase in success rates, reduced forward-failure rates, improved operational efficiency, and ultimately higher revenues and customer retention for Citrus Pay.
