A Hitachi Vantara Case Study
MyRepublic, a fast‑growing telecommunications operator with operations in Singapore, Indonesia, New Zealand and Australia, needed to consolidate disparate legacy and third‑party systems to scale its TelcoTech model and rapidly launch billing and operations systems for each market. To address this, MyRepublic partnered with Hitachi Vantara and deployed Pentaho Data Integration and Pentaho Business Analytics as an open data integration and analytics platform.
Hitachi Vantara’s Pentaho platform enabled MyRepublic to aggregate data across all countries and embed dashboards into its BOSS, CRM and back‑office systems, cutting data‑integration manpower from eight engineers to two (a 75% reduction) and building a robust data pipeline to power new products, services and data‑monetization opportunities; MyRepublic plans to capture up to 100× more data as it expands mobility services. Hitachi Vantara continues to work with MyRepublic to extend Pentaho usage and drive further savings and revenue.
