Mitre Creates Innovative Customer Experiences With New IT Environment Based on Hitachi Vantara Solutions

Mitre, a São Paulo–based property developer, faced rapid growth, increased data volumes and IPO-driven responsibilities for disaster recovery, data governance and security while constrained by a legacy IT environment. To meet needs for greater agility, performance, resilience and digital customer experiences, Mitre turned to Hitachi Vantara, deploying solutions including Hitachi Unified Compute Platform (UCP), Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform (VSP) G Series and Hitachi Advanced Server HS120.

Hitachi Vantara built a hybrid datacenter environment (implemented with partner Hands for IT) that added processing power, hybrid flash storage, backup/replication, unified communications and management tools. The new Hitachi Vantara platform enabled a seamless migration in days, secured business continuity, supported 300 employees working from home during COVID‑19, and delivered measurable gains in performance, scalability and security—allowing Mitre to launch digital services (online events, e‑signing, apps) and meet its growth and compliance goals.
