Managecast Technologies, a managed service provider, needed a highly reliable and scalable data protection infrastructure to support its growing customer base and vast storage requirements. They turned to Hitachi Vantara for a solution, ultimately selecting the Hitachi Content Platform (HCP) for Cloud Scale.

Hitachi Vantara implemented HCP for Cloud Scale, a software-defined storage platform that integrates seamlessly with Managecast's Veeam Backup software. The solution was deployed across two data centers for resilience. This provided Managecast with a highly scalable and stable platform, enabling them to easily protect nearly 2PB of customer data with minimal management overhead and freeing up resources to develop new revenue streams like their VMO Backup service.
