LC Waikiki Accelerates Market Growth With Hitachi All-Flash Solutions

LC Waikiki, the Turkish fashion retailer with 43,200 employees and more than 950 stores in 45 countries, faced aging infrastructure that was straining mission‑critical SQL databases and logistics systems as data volumes grew. To support aggressive growth targets and ensure fast, highly available decision‑making and delivery operations, LC Waikiki engaged Hitachi Vantara to modernize its data center using Hitachi all‑flash solutions (VSP F series and VSP G series including VSP G1500 and VSP G400 with HNAS), Hitachi Data Instance Director, Hitachi Infrastructure Analytics Advisor, and Hitachi services/premium support.

Hitachi Vantara implemented the all‑flash VSP and NAS architecture, migrated data with 24/7 on‑site support, and deployed HIAA and HDID for performance management and data protection. As a result, Hitachi Vantara consolidated and simplified LC Waikiki’s IT estate, dramatically reduced database query times, accelerated logistics and inventory control, lowered storage footprint and energy costs through adaptive data reduction and FMD compression, and improved customer availability and loyalty—positioning the retailer to better pursue its ambitious growth targets.
