Indonesian Tax Authority Direktorat Jenderal Pajak (DJP), Indonesia’s official tax authority, needed a reliable, always-available system to support smooth operations and analyze and match billions of data sets from more than 70 departments. To support its digital transformation, DJP turned to Hitachi Vantara and its data management solutions, including Pentaho, Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform G1000, and Hitachi Content Platform.

Hitachi Vantara implemented a resilient storage and data integration environment that delivered 100% data availability, faster OLTP performance, and improved handling of unstructured data. The results were significant: OLTP speeds increased by two to three times, data matching success rose from 16% to 40%, and DJP gained faster navigation of unstructured data, saving time, manpower, and improving productivity and insight generation.
