Incentro Safehub’s Data-Driven Service Improves Fire Safety in Holland’s Busiest Region With Hitachi Vantara’s Pentaho Solutions

Incentro’s Safehub division partnered with Amsterdam-Amstelland emergency services to tackle fire safety in Amsterdam’s dense, logistically complex region. To blend and manage diverse public data sources for prevention and response, Incentro implemented Hitachi Vantara’s Pentaho Data Integration as the core engine behind its Safehub platform.

Hitachi Vantara’s Pentaho extracts, transforms and loads property, census, historical and GIS data into MongoDB/Postgres and on-the-fly dashboards, giving responders 360-degree risk visibility that enabled targeted prevention campaigns and a measurable drop in incidents (including reductions in late-night cooking fires). The solution helped North Holland rank among the top-performing 14% of OECD regions in 2017, contributed to Incentro and the Amsterdam fire department winning the Dutch BI award, supported GDPR-ready anonymization/encryption, and let Incentro scale Safehub while maintaining its 10% profit margin.
