Hitachi Vantara Helps Bank of Tibet to Deploy Two Efficient Data Centers in 30 Days

Bank of Tibet, the first local bank in the Tibet autonomous region, needed to build two green, active‑active data centers in four months to ensure data security, business continuity and operational efficiency across its growing branch network. To meet this tight deadline the bank engaged Hitachi Vantara for storage, all‑flash, converged and data protection solutions, including VSP G1000 and G800 arrays, Hitachi NAS Platform 4060 modules and Hitachi Unified Compute Platform CI, plus professional services.

Hitachi Vantara implemented an all‑flash, active‑active storage architecture (global‑active device) and converged infrastructure, completing the storage deployment in 30 days and delivering a fully redundant IT environment. As a result, data retrieval is more than five times faster, data‑carrying capacity has more than doubled, and footprint and power consumption are significantly reduced, improving performance, availability and TCO for the Bank of Tibet.
