Hitachi Vantara delivered an audit-driven governance model, PLM tools, Scrum training, and an Offshore Development Center that re-architected a monolithic CIS suite into a modular, loosely coupled system. As a result, Hitachi Vantara helped Smiths Detection shorten release cycles, improve software quality and visibility, reduce upgrade risk and costs, capture better diagnostics, avoid single points of failure, and scale development capacity offshore—delivering measurable improvements in throughput and cost control.
