Hainbuch Workholding Technology, a manufacturing company, needed a centralized BI solution to holistically analyze data across the organization, automate ETL and reporting, and easily connect to their ERP and other IT systems. To address this challenge they selected Hitachi Vantara’s Pentaho Data Integration and Pentaho Business Analytics.

Hitachi Vantara implemented Pentaho (moving from Community to Enterprise), deployed on CentOS/VMware with MySQL, and provided consulting and training. The solution automated overnight ETL, gave daily operational access to consolidated KPIs (revenue by product/country, cost base, on-time delivery), improved management and sales reporting, enabled ad‑hoc analysis, and supports a three‑person analytics team working weekly/monthly—resulting in better operations and KPI management.
