Eosys Chooses Hitachi Solutions to Provide Cloud Services to Small and Medium Enterprises

Eosys Consulting Srl (Eosys), a Milan-based information system security specialist serving government agencies, telecoms and enterprises, wanted to expand from local contracts to offer cloud services to small and medium-sized companies but needed a converged, high-performance and easy-to-manage infrastructure. Hitachi Vantara deployed a customized converged platform integrating networking, midrange storage and X86 blade servers and worked with Eosys through design and deployment to automate and integrate the environment. The solution enabled faster rollout of cloud services for dozens of SMEs, improved storage utilization and delivered power/resource savings; Eosys reports a measurable 30% reduction in total cost of ownership and notable gains in flexibility and performance thanks to Hitachi Vantara’s implementation.
