Leading Energy Company was forced to vacate its on‑premises datacenter during a divestiture and faced monthly penalties of $1 million if migration missed a tight deadline. The customer needed to move legacy Windows 2003 servers, older MS SQL databases, and legacy batch and .NET applications to the cloud, so they engaged REAN Cloud (a Hitachi Vantara company) to design and execute the migration using the AWS framework.
