Isle of Wight NHS Trust worked with Hitachi Vantara to support a major digital pathology initiative at St Mary’s Hospital. Hitachi Vantara implemented the Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform (VSP) E590, along with Hitachi TrueCopy and Hitachi Ops Center software, to deliver synchronous replication, automated failover, and easier storage management. The result was 100% real-time data replication, improved resilience and performance, and measurable cost and sustainability benefits, including a 9% reduction in power and cooling costs over five years.
