A Hitachi Vantara Case Study
Yapı Kredi, one of Turkey’s leading banks serving more than 16 million customers, needed to ensure the availability and resiliency of its mission-critical Oracle banking systems as transaction volumes grew. Working with Hitachi Vantara, the bank set out to replace aging hybrid storage that could no longer deliver the performance, scalability, and efficiency required for modern banking operations.
Hitachi Vantara implemented all-flash Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform (VSP) 5600 and VSP E1090 arrays, supported by Hitachi Ops Center Administrator and Analyzer, across Yapı Kredi’s production and disaster recovery data centers. The upgrade improved availability, reduced latency, increased storage scalability, and cut power and cooling consumption, helping the bank lower infrastructure costs, shrink its footprint, and operate more sustainably.
