HAINZL Industrial Systems GmbH, based in Austria, needed to strengthen business continuity after experiencing an IT outage and disk failures that exposed the risk of downtime. The company also wanted to improve sluggish reporting and application performance so employees could work more efficiently. HAINZL turned to Hitachi Vantara for a cost-efficient, high-availability storage solution, centered on the Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform (VSP) E590.

Hitachi Vantara implemented a fully redundant, all-flash storage cluster with two Hitachi VSP E590 systems, supported by Hitachi Ops Center tools and proactive services. The result was faster application performance, stronger data protection, and simpler storage management: HAINZL reported 85% faster file management and reporting, 50% higher storage efficiency, and about €100,000 in cost savings versus a competitor’s solution.
