A Hitachi Vantara Case Study
Hong Kong Young Women’s Christian Association (HKYWCA), a nonprofit serving more than 3 million people annually across Hong Kong, needed a more reliable, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure to support new technology initiatives such as ERP and case management platforms. As VMware licensing costs rose and its existing hyperconverged infrastructure reached end of life, HKYWCA turned to Hitachi Vantara for a storage solution.
Hitachi Vantara helped HKYWCA migrate to a multitier architecture centered on VSP One Block 24 storage arrays, delivered through partners Multisoft and ACW. The new platform improved performance and storage efficiency, increased effective capacity from 70TB to 120TB, guaranteed 100% data availability, and cut annual maintenance costs by 50%, supporting more dependable services for staff and customers.
