DestekBank, one of Türkiye’s youngest and most dynamic banks, needed to prepare its infrastructure for rapid expansion into the retail banking market. Its existing storage environment was reaching end-of-life and had become increasingly complex to manage, creating a need for a more scalable, reliable foundation for mission-critical banking applications. Hitachi Vantara was selected to help modernize the bank’s storage platform.

Hitachi Vantara implemented a three-data-center architecture based on Hitachi VSP One Block 26, along with Hitachi Ops Center, to improve availability, disaster recovery, and administration. The solution delivered 35% better application performance, 40% more storage capacity, 25% lower data center power consumption, and 30% time savings for storage administrators, while also achieving 99.999% uptime and an estimated 20% reduction in total cost of ownership.
