Hitachi Data Systems Helps Inner Mongolia Mobile Implement Cloud Storage to Support Leading Communications Services

Inner Mongolia Mobile, a subsidiary of China Mobile, needed a cloud storage platform that could virtualize heterogeneous storage, eliminate data silos, simplify management, and protect existing investments while supporting its growing telecommunications services. It turned to Hitachi Data Systems and Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform, along with cloud enablement and SAN implementation services, to build a unified storage resource pool.
