iGATE, a global IT services provider with operations in India, needed to consolidate 12 Microsoft Windows file and data servers across three locations as growth was increasing infrastructure complexity, downtime risk, and TCO. The company turned to Hitachi Data Systems and its storage solutions to simplify file server management, improve data protection, and support business-critical workloads.

Hitachi Data Systems implemented Hitachi Unified Storage VM and Hitachi NAS Platform 3080 clusters in Mumbai and Bangalore, with Global Solution Services helping complete the consolidation without disruption.
