Contactlab Powers Digital Marketing Service With Hitachi Unified Compute Platform for VMware vSphere

Contactlab, a digital direct marketing services provider, needed to enhance its SaaS offerings and maintain high customer service while handling growing volumes of customer data. To support its digital marketing services, Contactlab turned to Hitachi Data Systems and Hitachi Unified Compute Platform for VMware vSphere to improve infrastructure scalability, security, and management.

Hitachi Data Systems implemented a private cloud with a secure, mirrored two-data-center setup in Milan and Amsterdam using Hitachi Unified Compute Platform, storage, and automation software. The result was a simplified and highly efficient environment that reduced footprint by 55%, consolidated about 150 physical servers and four storage systems, enabled rapid provisioning, and allowed Contactlab to manage much higher data volumes with greater security and reliability.
