Wag is an on-demand dog-walking app that connects pet owners with vetted walkers and real-time GPS tracking. As the company expanded quickly from Los Angeles to several major U.S. cities, its small corporate team struggled to recruit the engineering talent needed to support growth because it had no dedicated HR or recruiting resources.
