HomePlate Peanut Butter, founded by Clint Greenleaf with a network of former Major League Baseball players, set out to make a healthier, better-tasting peanut butter and grow it into a national CPG brand. Despite strong entrepreneurial experience and a successful product, the company lacked deep retail distribution and sales/marketing expertise needed to scale nationwide.

HireBetter partnered with HomePlate to recruit senior sales and marketing leaders, including a pivotal Director of Sales and a Marketing Manager, who built a sales team and expanded shelf presence. Within six months the brand moved from minimal exposure to end-caps at Central Market and placement in over 1,000 stores; today HomePlate is in 3,000+ stores, with continued HireBetter support and the hiring (and promotion) of CPG veteran Kevin Tucker to President.
