Prisma, a 45-person tech company using Greenhouse as its ATS, was preparing to scale from Series A to Series B and needed to make 15–25 key hires efficiently. Their challenge was balancing speed with confidence in hiring decisions, especially when deciding whether reference checks would slow down the process. Prisma worked with HiPeople to add value without creating unnecessary friction.
Using HiPeople’s reference-checking insights, Prisma was able to make better-informed hiring decisions when they were only partly confident about a candidate, helping them avoid mis-hires. In cases where the team already knew a candidate was a strong fit, HiPeople was used after the offer so hiring could move quickly while still gathering useful context to support the new hire’s success.
