Taking a Hybrid Approach to 
Direct Primary Care to Drive Growth and Patient Satisfaction

Miramont Family Medicine, a multi-location family practice serving more than 20,000 patients, wanted to introduce direct primary care (DPC) without abandoning its fee-for-service (FFS) patients, many of whom relied on Medicare or Medicaid. The challenge was running a hybrid model while managing very different workflows for billing, scheduling, enrollment, and patient communication. Hint Health’s HintOS platform was used to help support the transition.

With Hint Health and HintOS, Miramont was able to organize DPC-only providers, streamline member enrollment and payments, and support both DPC and FFS operations more efficiently. The practice grew to over 1,300 DPC members, achieved 5.4% DPC membership growth over the last 12 months, secured direct contracts with five employers, and reduced staff headcount by 33% through streamlined back-office operations.
