Marlo Company's Paperless Initiative Includes Revenue Boost

Marlo Company Sprinkler Systems, a Michigan irrigation contractor, wanted to go paperless as part of its 30th anniversary celebration and reduce the burden of paper-based invoicing and customer communications. The company also saw an opportunity to use email marketing to promote Hunter Hydrawise controllers through HindSite Software’s Connect Pro email add-on.

Using HindSite Software, Marlo sent a professionally designed Hydrawise promotional email to about 1,200 customers with email addresses. The campaign drove more than 50 new Hydrawise controller installations, growing Marlo’s Hydrawise customer base to over 80 and generating enough revenue to cover the HindSite Software suite for multiple years, while also creating a path for recurring annual management fees.
