CircleCI, a fast-growing CI/CD company, needed to speed up access to data as its user base and datasets expanded. Its legacy pipelines and home-grown integrations were slow, brittle, and made business data difficult for Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to use. The company also needed a way to move modeled data out of Snowflake into tools like Salesforce, Amplitude, and Gainsight.

Hightouch provided the reverse ETL solution, with dbt Cloud and Git integrations, to sync CircleCI’s Snowflake data models directly into downstream systems. With Hightouch, CircleCI cut Salesforce sync time from about 20 hours to minutes, added new fields in minutes instead of hours, synced qualified user data to Amplitude for experiment analysis, and pushed churn-prediction models to Gainsight to help reduce churn.
