Polyvinyl Records - Customer Case Study

Polyvinyl Records is an 18-year-old independent label from the Bay Area known for a diverse roster that includes of Montreal, Japandroids and Alvvays. Facing a music industry transformed by digital technology and the need to produce and promote more multimedia (audio masters, remix stems and music videos), the label needed fast, reliable ways to share large files and coordinate creative work across bands, directors and editors.

Polyvinyl adopted Hightail as a daily tool for sending WAVs, stems and video files, while using private YouTube/Vimeo links for editing and FX review. This streamlined file-sharing and collaboration, making video production and promo workflows smoother and helping the small label adapt quickly to digital changes while continuing to release high-quality, genre-spanning music.
