Echo Entertainment is a Los Angeles–based production company that specializes in fast-turnaround sports, poker and reality TV coverage, including producing dozens of World Series of Poker highlight shows each year. Their crews collect massive amounts of media on location—hundreds of terabytes and individual files up to 50 GB—and needed a faster, more reliable way to share large files with editors and network producers than clunky, support-heavy FTP.

Echo moved the whole team to Hightail (mostly Hightail Express) for file transfer, gaining resumable uploads, a simple interface and far fewer IT support headaches. The change made file sharing more dependable across remote shoots and partner companies, sped up editorial workflows and helped ensure tight delivery windows were met consistently.
