Enveda, a company focused on unlocking the potential of natural chemistry for drug discovery, needed to build and operate an ultra-high-throughput screening platform with a small, agile team. Their challenge was to efficiently annotate the function of molecules from their vast library of natural biomasses while maintaining flexibility for a wide variety of assay types.

Partnering with HighRes, Enveda implemented a philosophy of automating low-complexity, high-capacity tasks using three core Nucleus automation systems. This HighRes solution enabled the team of eight scientists to run a full end-to-end platform, including automated overnight and weekend imaging that captured previously impossible data. The modular and upgradable design of the systems reduced long-term costs and provided the flexibility to rapidly adapt to new biological questions.
