Blackhawk, a $1B prepaid, gift card and payments company operating across 42 business units globally, faced an antiquated, manual deductions process that left about 4,000 deduction line items outstanding — including 2,000+ open for more than two years — with no standardized workflow, poor inter-team collaboration, and no real-time visibility. To address these challenges Blackhawk engaged HighRadius (Deductions solution and Cash Application) to modernize its Order-to-Cash operations.
HighRadius automated document aggregation and matching, introduced collaborated e-workflows and intuitive dashboards, and added Cash Application automation to auto-apply payments. As a result, HighRadius helped Blackhawk achieve a 96% reduction in open deductions, 95% faster dispute resolution, a 60% increase in productivity, and the auto-application of 360,000 ACH payments while reducing lockbox fees.
