Sanofi’s Transformation Journey Global Cash Application roll out in 28 countries

Sanofi, the global pharmaceutical company, faced highly fragmented cash application processes across its operations, with inconsistent automation, manual remittance handling, poor end-to-end visibility, and rising A/R overdue work. To standardize processes and improve efficiency and internal customer satisfaction, Sanofi selected HighRadius and its Cash Application Cloud to create a single global model and automate receivables.

HighRadius deployed the Cash Application Cloud globally in 1.5 years to auto-aggregate remittances, auto-link payments and deduction coding using AI, and integrate with existing ERPs—reducing lockbox keying fees and manual effort. The rollout cut average weekly wire transfers from about 385 to 128, eliminated 50% of the cash application workload, processed 48% of payments through ecash (900,000 payments) in one year, and raised branch automation (Russia 0→85%, Hungary 0→60%, France 50→88%).
