HSBC’s legal function, with about 1,300 people across 46 countries, needed a better way to support collaborative working and knowledge sharing. The team was using multiple knowledge management platforms, making it harder to find, share, and reuse legal know-how consistently across the global business. HSBC turned to HighQ, seeking a single global knowledge hub and knowledge-sharing tool.

HighQ implemented a phased rollout of a global legal knowledge hub with structured tagging, searchable content, internal blogging, and reporting features, while involving lawyers from across the business in the design and launch. The result was faster access to more focused content, more frequent collaboration across teams, and better visibility into knowledge contributions. HSBC says HighQ has helped save time and improve the quality of work, while also supporting training and external content sharing.
