SnackFutures, the innovation and venture arm of Mondelez International, needed to rapidly test early formulations and messaging for a new sustainable snack product. They engaged the vendor Highlights to conduct agile in-home consumer testing to better understand preferences for ingredients, sourcing, and formulations.
Highlights implemented a rapid solution by packing and shipping three product flavors to a targeted nationwide community for in-home testing. Within just ten days, Highlights provided SnackFutures with a live results dashboard and key insights, enabling the client to quickly adjust the recipe and messaging based on what resonated most with consumers. This agile approach, which achieved a 98% survey completion rate, allowed SnackFutures to prioritize nutritional elements and refine consumer-friendly language with speed and confidence.
