A Highland Case Study
Thrivent Financial worked with Highland to launch Thrivent Student Resources, a new consumer-facing website for a Gen Z audience. Thrivent wanted to help students better understand the real cost of higher education and reduce student loan debt, and it needed the new brand and site built in just under three months.
Highland used human-centered design, lean startup methods, Agile, and Kanban to shape and build the site, with OutSystems serving as the development backbone. The team estimated that testing features before fully building them saved $35,000 in development costs, and the site launched before its anticipated deadline. In three months, all planned and additional requested functionality was implemented, and within two weeks the site had more than 65,000 page views and over 15,000 unique sessions.
