Helping Materion design a CRM to meet the needs of their international team

Materion worked with Highland to build a modern CRM for its global sales team. The company’s old homegrown system was slow, with some logins taking 20 minutes and call reports taking 60 minutes to generate, and it did not track leads or new business orders. Materion also wanted a rollout that could be completed in six months and support a sales force spread across three continents.

Highland helped Materion roll out a customized SugarCRM platform with regional super users, face-to-face training in six countries over four weeks, and hands-on sessions using real customer data. Adoption was immediate and complete, reducing administrative time and improving visibility and collaboration across teams. Materion said the CRM became a unifying factor for the business and a cornerstone of its “One Materion” vision.
