Żabka’s Culture of Innovation Drives Adoption of Mobile Access at Retail Chain’s Headquarters

Żabka, a major convenience store chain with 7,000 locations, sought to move beyond traditional access control for its new headquarters, desiring a modern, intelligent, and automated office ecosystem. The challenge was to implement an integrated solution that utilized mobile identities to streamline building access, security, and administrative processes. To achieve this, they partnered with HID Global and other providers.

HID Global implemented its HID Mobile Access solution with Seos technology, creating a system where employees use a smartphone app for entry, secure printing, and various office amenities. This eliminated physical cards, automated onboarding, and enabled touchless visitor management via QR codes. The results include streamlined operations for 800 users, increased security, remote administration, and a successful large-scale deployment that positioned Żabka as an innovator.
