Willis, a major international insurance brokerage, wanted to implement a cashless payment system for the catering facilities in its new London headquarters. Their key challenge was finding a solution that would seamlessly integrate with and utilize their employees' existing HID access control cards, moving away from traditional cash transactions for the first time.

The solution, implemented by HID Global and cashless payment terminals with HID Global MIFARE technology. This allowed employees to pay with their existing access cards. The results were highly successful, efficiently handling 800-900 daily lunchtime transactions without queues. The system increased cashier efficiency, created significant cost savings, and provided great convenience for the 1,600 employees, who adopted the new cashless system enthusiastically.
