The solution included innovations like a personalized embedded hologram, ultra-high resolution security patterns, and secure portable data storage. The result was that the digital security of the card was never compromised, effectively putting mass counterfeiters out of business. Over 26 million durable cards were issued, providing a fraud-proof solution for over 13 years and upholding the integrity of the U.S. immigration system.
