Top University in Jordan Selects HID Global to Reduce Wait Time when Issuing Student ID Cards

A top university in Jordan, the country's largest and oldest institution with over 42,000 students, needed a robust and cost-effective card personalization solution. Their challenge was to securely issue high volumes of durable, high-quality student and faculty ID cards that could also be encoded for access control, all while requiring a system that was efficient, easily managed, and scalable for future needs. They selected HID Global for this project.

HID Global implemented its FARGO DTC4500 printer/encoders to provide a direct-to-card printing solution. This allowed the university to reliably issue approximately 10,000 cards per year on-site. The results included a significant reduction in wait times for students, especially during peak periods like the start of the academic year, and substantial cost savings. HID Global's solution provided a hassle-free, secure, and scalable service without compromising on quality or security.
