Snapsportz™ Uses HID Global RFID Technology to Help Capture the Thrill at Princeville Ranch Adventures

Princeville Ranch Adventures, a family-owned eco-adventure business in Kauai, wanted a better way to capture and share guest photos from its popular zip line experience. The ranch partnered with Snapsportz, using HID Global RFID technology, to solve the challenge of reliably identifying guests in a harsh outdoor environment with heat, rain, cleaning, and rugged handling.

HID Global implemented SlimFlex RFID tags on the ranch’s helmets to trigger cameras along the course and link each photo to the correct guest. The durable tags delivered near-100% readability, helping Princeville Ranch achieve virtually flawless image capture, more than double revenue for its zip line operation, and boost social media promotion as about 85% of guests chose digital images to share online.
