A HID Global Case Study
Citrix, a technology company, faced challenges with long wait times and inefficient manual processes during check-in and session tracking at its large iForum event. They partnered with vendor HID Global and used HID's iCLASS contactless smart cards and RW400 readers to create a seamless and secure event management solution.
The solution implemented by HID Global enabled fast, customized badge printing and encoded each card with attendee data. This allowed for quick check-in, automated session attendance tracking, and easy login to internet terminals. The results were significant, reducing badge pickup time to just two to three minutes, eliminating registration lines, and dramatically increasing the quality of leads and survey response rates for event sponsors.
