Case Study: Mail.ru Group achieves secure mobile office access with HID Global Mobile Access

Russia’s Largest Internet Company, Mail.ru, Leverages the Power of Hid Mobile Access to Deliver Convenience and Enhance Employee Experiences

Mail.ru Group, a major Russian internet company, sought an access control solution to securely manage access for its 7,000+ employees and visitors across its Moscow offices. The challenge was to move from physical cards to a more convenient and secure mobile credential system on smartphones. They partnered with vendor HID Global to address this need.

The solution from HID Global involved deploying its HID Mobile Access platform and HID iCLASS SE R10 readers. This allowed employees to use their phones for access. The results included enhanced security through Seos technology and improved operational efficiency from a cloud-based credential management system. The success led Mail.ru Group to plan expanding the mobile access solution to visitors and contractors.
