Royal Jersey Laundry Enhances Linen Inventory Management for London’s Prestigious 5-Star Hotels With HID Acuity and LinTRAK RFID Tag Solution

Royal Jersey Laundry, a specialist provider to London’s 5-star hotel sector, needed a better way to manage expensive owned linen across a high-volume, fast-moving operation. Manual counts and paper-based tracking made accurate inventory control difficult, leading to lost visibility, extra work, and occasional delivery errors. The company turned to HID Global, using HID Acuity and LinTRAK RFID tags to bring real-time visibility to its linen inventory and delivery process.

HID Global implemented a cloud-based RFID inventory management system with LinTRAK textile tags, scanners, and Acuity software integrated with Sage. The solution automated counting, generated delivery notes and billing, and gave hotels portal access to stock levels. Royal Jersey Laundry says the system improved productivity, reduced wasted labor, increased asset security, and delivered a fast return on investment, with the HID system paying for itself since installation in 2019.
